How to Cook Like a Mandalorian

Ever wonder what that space food the Mandalorian eats on the show tastes like? While we don’t know for sure, you can get a better idea right in your own kitchen with help from Chefs Maria, Vivian and Michi from Cozymeal. These chefs, and others like them, have been creating dishes inspired by movies and TV shows and they will teach you how to do the same. Think of it like one of those meal kit delivery services only you get a chef delivered to you instead (although, in same cases, meal kits are delivered too).

Whether you are trying to figure out a new date night activity, a theme for a bachelor or bachelorette party, something to do with mom or dad for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, Cozymeal just might be the ticket. They offer a collection of virtual experiences (cooking, mixology, wine tastings, and more) hosted by world-class and exhaustively-vetted culinary professionals starting at $29. And Cozymeal has just began offering classes inspired by favorite movies and TV shows. From movies like Crazy Rich Asians to TV series like The Crown, there is a lot to choose from.

Chef Maria is currently teaching classes on how to prepare a few of Grogu’s favorite foods in an online Mandalorian-themed cooking class. Begin by preparing bone broth from scratch with a mix of vegetables and chicken bones. The menu begins with Bone Broth followed by some Chicken “Frog Leg” Skewers” and finishing with some Blue Milk Macarons filled with Blueberry Jam.

Meanwhile, Chef Vivian and Chef Michi invite you to take a culinary journey to Mos Eisley Cantina to learn how to make a Baby Yoda Margarita, Galaxy Guacamole and Baby Yoda-inspired Green Deviled Eggs with Celery and Capers alongside some Mandalorian-themed conversation and entertainment.

Other Classes Offered Include:

  • Chef Logan’s Harry Potter-themed Quidditch Cup After-Party where he will teach you “magical” tricks and techniques for getting the most flavor out of the ingredients you’ll use to make a Slytherin Spinach Artichoke Dip, Hufflepuff Mango Salsa, Raven Claws with Blue Cheese Dip and more.
  • Chef Maria’s Crown-Themed Afternoon Tea Party where you’ll learn how to throw an afternoon tea party worthy of royalty by preparing three different finger sandwiches and Lemon Lavender Scones. You’ll also learn a thing or two about proper afternoon tea etiquette and how to brew the perfect cup of tea.
  • Chef Andy will share with you the “secret” recipe for The Office’s Kevin’s infamous chili. He will guide you through the process of making hearty, smoky chili — and will even throw in a little Office trivia.
