Meet the ‘Masked Singers’ of Season 5 and Earn Cash

Who knew that FOX’s goofy guessing game show, The Masked Singer, would have become such a hit? Famous adults the likes of Donny Osmond, Dionne Warwick and LeAnn Rimes dressing up in theme park character costumes? Celebrity panelists with their way over-the-top responses and shocked reactions? Its ratings tie with NBC’s This is Us and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and the show has been a huge win for the network. So much so that it spawned two sort of spin-off shows – I Can See Your Voice and The Masked Dancer. Unfortunately, lightning rarely strikes twice. Neither of the two new shows are really worth watching and their ratings prove it (though it has been announced that I Can See Your Voice will be getting a second season). But The Masked Singer is family-friendly and when you recognize the voice but can’t figure out who it belongs to, the show becomes addicting.

Season five of The Masked Singer begins tonight with a whole new group of singers and costumes and a new guest host. Only days before shooting began for the season, it was discovered that Nick Cannon had tested positive for COVID-19 and while he is expected to appear on the show later in the season, Niecy Nash will be filling in for hosting duties. This seasons costumes include Black Swan, Chameleon, Cluedle-Doo, Grandpa Monster, Phoenix, Piglet, Porcupine, Raccoon, Russian Doll, Sea Shell and Snail.

And the show is becoming more interactive with the viewers. The FOX Bet Super 6 app will allow viewers to make predictions about what they think will happen in each episode throughout the season.

In advance of each episode, viewers who download the FOX Bet Super 6 app will be presented with six questions to predict what will occur in the show that night. For every correct answer, users of the app will receive an entry into a prize drawing where a total of $20,000 will be given away each week. There will be multiple winners each week. Users who enter the sweepstakes every week will receive an extra entry into a grand prize sweepstakes with a $100,000 grand prize, which could be awarded to a single player following the show’s season finale in May.

FOX Bet Super 6’s weekly contest will launch each Monday at 8:00 PM ET, and entries will be open until the end of Act 1 of the East Coast airing on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM ET.
