Three Ideas for a Fun Night Out in New York

Do you ever feel like you’re doing the same thing every weekend? Most nights out consist of dinner and maybe a movie, and after a while it can feel mundane. Next time your friends want to go out try throwing out one of these out of the ordinary ideas.

Create a Food Tour

If you’re looking for a way to spruce up your typical night out, try creating your own food tour. This can be a great way to experience different restaurants all in one night. Get a group of friends together and choose three or four restaurants to go to. Split an appetizer or meal at each one to give you a taste of what they have to offer. If you’re worried about getting too full, try finding restaurants that are in walking distance of each other to give you a break in between.

Check Out the Cabaret

When it comes to a fun night out, the NY cabaret is often forgotten. You’ll be able to have food and drinks while watching a fantastic show. Cabarets mostly involve singing and dancing, but since the venues are usually on the smaller since, the performers are able to interact with the audience. Don’t worry about getting a good seat because at the cabaret you’ll always feel like your up close and personal.

Have a Picnic

Having a picnic in the park is always good for a romantic date night, or it can be a fun gathering of friends. If you don’t feel like making your own food, pick up something delicious from the grocery store’s prepared food section. Pack a big blanket to sit on, and you can always bring some card games along for entertainment. Just make sure to find a well lit park if it’s dark out.

Choose something new to try, and start making weekend plans with your friends. You may just find that you feel rejuvenated after a fun night out.
