The new special created by People Magazine and ABC just might be more interesting than how it sounds.
The commercial-free show will be carried by more than 20 broadcast and cable networks and streaming channels throughout the U.S.
ABC is presenting four Disney movies on Wednesday nights from 8-10 p.m. starting May 20, 2020.
Last Thursday, 12.2 million viewers tuned in to see ABC’s broadcast of “The Disney Family Singalong” The experiment turned out amazingly well and thoroughly enjoyable. An encore presentation of the special this Sunday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
The new series begins on Wednesday, April 8 and since many of the contestants are already millionaires (or close to it) they instead will be playing for charity.
ABC will be airing the terribly-named special, Volcano Live! with Nik Wallenda. Is it okay to do crazy stunts like this and then ask God for safety?
Whoa. I have to say, I was really surprised to see that this year’s Oscars was a lot less mean-spirited and politically-charged than in recent years. It was a refreshing change and hopefully one that will stick.
Maybe, just maybe this year will be different. In the fast few years, the glitz, and glamour of the award show is still intact, but the whole celebration of Hollywood and movie-making seems to have disappeared in favor of the cause of the day. (I wonder what color of ribbons everyone will be dressed with this year?) But as the say, the show must go on.
