Chris Tomlin and Hillsong UNITED to Tour Together

It’s pretty crazy to think just how many songs we sing every year in church were written by or made popular Chris Tomlin and Hillsong UNITED. Two songs that come to mind that I never tire of are “Indescribable” (Chris Tomlin) and “Mighty to Save” (Hillsong UNITED). “Indescribable, uncontainable … You are amazing God” “My God is might to save. He is mighty to save” – such simple but powerful lyrics.

Saviour, he can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever Author of Salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
-	“He is Mighty to Save” by Hillsong UNITED

Now these leaders of worship will combine for one giant, 33-city tour beginning in Greensboro, NC on February 9, 2022 and ending in Duluth, GA on April 13, 2022 with 31 city stops in between including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Miami and New York.

“We’ve been trying to do something like this for a long time and we have a real sense of trust in the fact that this is the right time.” said Chris Tomlin and Joel Houston (UNITED). Indeed it is. The two have been planning this concert tour for almost two years and it has been delayed 18 months.

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
-	“Indescribable” by Chris Tomlin

“This is the moment for what God has been planning and in that, we think the timing has everything to do with the people joining us each night. At the heart of it, we want people to leave with the understanding that there is a greater hope in this world. This is a critical moment in time for people to be reminded that there is a true and living hope, and that’s obviously Jesus. That is what we proclaim with these nights.”

Tickets for the upcoming concerts are on sale right now and of course, they will make great Christmas gifts. Find out when and where they will be playing here.
