Disney’s Surprise ‘Singalong’ Special Comes Back

Last Thursday, 12.2 million viewers tuned in to see ABC’s broadcast of The Disney Family Singalong featuring a boatload of stars singing classic Disney tunes from within the four walls of their homes. That make this year’s highest-rated show on TV since the Oscars in February. The experiment created during this time of crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic turned out amazingly well and thoroughly enjoyable. Because of this, ABC is presenting an encore presentation of the special this Sunday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the special is surprisingly good. Sure, it’s cheesy at times but overall, it’s a must-see for all Disney fan families. The special includes remote performances and appearances by Christina Aguilera, Erin Andrews, Bobby Bones, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, Auliʻi Cravalho, Darren Criss, Luke Evans, Elle Fanning, Jordan Fisher, Josh Gad, Ariana Grande, Josh Groban, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town, Demi Lovato, Alan Menken, Kenny Ortega, Donny Osmond, Thomas Rhett, Amber Riley, Marcus Scribner and John Stamos.

Performances throughout the evening include the following with an animated character to guide the on-screen lyrics:
- “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” – Demi Lovato and Michael Bublé
- “A Spoonful of Sugar” – Little Big Town
- “Be Our Guest” – Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert, with a special appearance by Julianne Hough
