ABC Greenlights Erin Brockovich-ish Series
The pilot episode must have really impressed ABC since the network has just announced that it has ordered a new drama series inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich straight to series to debut in 2021. Though it is not actually about Brockovich, Rebel is inspired by the woman today. Read More >>>

It’s more horror than superhero, with a ghost story and voodoo overtones. And despite he’s the main character of the show, the Swamp Thing only makes a brief appearance in the first two episodes. ABC has declared that its new fall show, Emergency Call is daring. While I guess not airing yet another game show or evening soap opera could be considered daring to the network, I didn’t see anything daring during the show’s first episode. The ex-DEA agent from Miami is now working as a detective for the Los Angeles Police Department. Tate Taylor is the writer and director of FOX’s new comedy/drama Filthy Rich. I don’t know if he is a Christian or not, but he grew up in the south (where this show takes place) so I’m sure he has a perspective on how some southern Christians live their lives with some pretending to be all “nicey nice.” I’m just not sure if he understands the whole picture.
