So, I guess you have a choice when it comes to this latest chapter. Be annoyed with all of the story’s shortcomings or sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show. The movie is still entertaining, which is why we go to see movies in the first place and it is still a fun way to start the summer movie season.
“Marry Me” is not going to win any awards and feels like a self-indulgent exercise for Lopez, but dang it, she and Wilson are so likeable, it’s hard to dislike this film.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom certainly has similar themes to the earlier movies about man thinking they can play God and continues the mythology, but it is its own story. If you’re looking for an action-packed movie that starts off with a bang and doesn’t end until the credits, this is your movie.
Jurassic Park is a one big morality lesson in that no matter how big you think you are or how big science is, neither is bigger than God. Man has never and never will be a suitable substitute.
