What and who to watch on New Year’s Eve 2021 on ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN.
While the hour of “La Brea” plays out with a few exciting scenes, there’s no real tension. One character says, “Something strange is going on.” You’re just now realizing this? You know that the people in jeopardy are going to be okay. It’s actually quite boring.
Clearly, NBC is banking on it’s new high-concept drama, “Ordinary Joe”, to be the network’s next This is Us success story. Like “This is Us”, “Joe” has a unique storytelling device but I’m not sure that it is on par with the former show.
Season 13 of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” ends with its youngest “last ninja standing” ever.
Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch this show, but I am surprised that for how silly this show is, it was actually enjoyable to watch. Bell and Shepard are adorable and frankly, make for great hosts.
This was my favorite part of this year’s Olympic Games opening ceremony. In the span of less than five minutes, some very talented performers embody 50 Olympic disciplines from 41 sports via pictograms. So cool.
This year’s Olympic Games might be hard to find and when you do, they might not be what you are expecting – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Now of course this whole set up is pretty silly, but so is The Masked Singer and that is still a lot of fun to watch. Small Fortune is about as much fun as it is to watch someone else play pinball.
Boasting of winning the ratings war for the last 10 summers in a row, NBC has announced the debuts of America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior and Making It.
