The big winners for the night were up a “Creek” if you know what I mean. The rest of the show had good moments and bad – pretty much like every other year.
As with everything else in the world, this year’s Emmy Awards will look quite a bit different this year – pretty much just Jimmy Kimmel on a blank stage.
The new series begins on Wednesday, April 8 and since many of the contestants are already millionaires (or close to it) they instead will be playing for charity.
This Wednesday, Kimmel, Lear and company will perform two holiday episodes from “All in the Family” and “Good Times” with new casts.
“The Boss Baby” is an excellent film that is actually “pro-family” which is a nice change in today’s more sarcastic fare.
