Focus Features has created a new mini documentary series entitled Reel Destinations bringing viewers behind the scenes of their favorite movies as well as real places that they can visit and explore themselves proving that real locations in movies can be just as much a character as the actors.
Reel Destinations explores the areas highlighted by Focus Features films and sends a small crew to a new location for each episode. “We ask locals questions, direct viewers to points of interest, and feature never-before-seen B-roll captured during production of the films to give audiences a special look at each location,” says the studio.

Hosted by Alicia Malone, the first travelogue episode featured locations from the upcoming Downton Abbey movie including Highclere Castle, Churchgate House (aka Crawley House), and the country town of Bampton including a super-cool Art Deco pub. Watch the episode below.
